Since 2002 Associate Enterprises Ltd (Assent) has been providing Internet Services to businesses in the South East, including the design and build or websites, and provision of email addresses.

We take our responsibility very seriously when it comes to publishing content on the Internet and making email systems available.

Accessibility
We are committed to high standards in the work we produced and making it accessible for all, using the W3C’s (www.w3c.org) accessibility guidelines as a bench mark. Where possible we also adhere to PAS 78:2006, a publicly available specification titled: ‘Guide to good practice in commissioning accessible websites’.

Spam Emails
Unsolicited and unwanted emails are now a common nuisance, and some carry more than unwanted advertising slogans.
Our email service tries to reduce this risk by checking global black-lists before accepting mail from other servers. We also provide a ‘spam’ filtering service, to stop unwanted messages coming through.

Phishing
Phishing is a method of fraudulently obtaining personal details using web pages and email messages that look identical to trusted brands. Thankfully we can be confident that our clients are legitimate traders. However there are many others out there so it pays to be careful when entering your details over the Internet.
